The traditional way of thinking is that talent retention is the primary goal of organizations and their leaders. In the era of Open Innovation, we need to shift our thinking from talent retention to talent accumulation. This means that everything which we thought was true, no longer is. Talent Accumulation is broader than just retention; it takes into account talent attraction, retention and attrition.
Based on interviews with senior corporate executives I have published a whitepaper centered on Talent Accumulation.
These senior leaders held positions as CxO’s and VPs in Supply Chain, Operations and Procurement in multinational companies. The interviews centered on exploring the experiences, challenges, and best practices of talent retention strategies of senior leaders from:
AkzoNobel, ASML, Bayer, AutoScout24, Cordstrap, DHL, DSM, Envalior, Euramax, Forto, Heineken, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Marel, SABIC, Sibelco and WILVO Group.
